Our Story

As sisters who spent our childhoods competing in dance competitions and conventions across North America, we understood the need for cutting-edge dance costumes that combined comfort with confidence. As we matured, we became aware of the high costs associated with our custom attire. This realization inspired us to start renting out our old costumes to fellow dancers at our studio. The enthusiastic response from parents, grateful for an affordable way to dress their dancers in beautiful costumes, affirmed our belief in the necessity of such a service.

Transitioning from competitive dancers to dance teachers, we now have the responsibility of selecting costumes for our soloists and groups. We quickly discovered that custom-made costumes were financially unrealistic for many of our groups. Even catalog options, once considered a more economical alternative, have become expensive due to factors like shipping, exchange rates, customs, and duties, often nearing the cost of custom pieces.

This experience highlighted a significant gap in the market: the need for a Canadian brand that offers versatile, affordable costume bases. These bases could be either embellished to fit various themes or worn as sleek, standalone pieces. This realization fuels our commitment to providing trendy and bold costume solutions that meet the needs of today’s dancers and their families.
